Education
The Life Education Programme is designed to help teenagers and young people engage in debate and discussion on topics related to teenage pregnancy, rights, responsibilities and abortion.
The Life Education Programme gives young people information on topics related to teenage pregnancy, relationships and decision making.
Topics include:
Life Before Birth
Sex & Relationships
Making a Decision
Abortion
Every year Life speaks to thousands of young people about issues that matter to them and impact upon their lives.
Young people require information that is accurate and relevant to situations that may arise in their lives. Using multimedia presentations and hand held models our trained presenters challenge young people to discuss and debate topics such as the value of human life, the development of the baby, relationships, rights and responsibilities, unplanned pregnancy and abortion.
Through factual and informative presentations, Life aims to challenge people to think through the issues to make informed decisions.
The programme is offered in post primary schools and to youth and community groups and can be tailored to the needs of the group.
Life has a range of literature and information to help students with school projects available on request
